It isn't gym class that keeps her fit, it's training to become a kunoichi, or female ninja. Oh, and her best friends, the ones she spends all her free time with? They're anthropomorphic turtles. April is a clever, tenacious young woman of seventeen with a generous heart and an open mind. She can be stubborn as a mule, but only about the things which really count. Raised at her scientist father's knee, she finds most "normal" teenage interests tedious, and feels more comfortable hanging out in a sewer planning stealth attacks on mutants than in a high school classroom or at the mall.
